A New Documentary
on Environmental Medicine

FREE ONLINE SCREENING: OCT 19 - 26, 2026

How do we reduce our accumulated burden of toxins… starting now?

If you care about clean food, clean water, fewer chemicals, lower EMFs, and personal agency, you’re already doing important work.

But there’s a question your audience is quietly asking more and more:

“What do I do once I’ve already accumulated years of exposure?”

Body Burden is a brand new documentary that tackles the “now what?” side of environmental health through the lens of environmental medicine, a pioneering branch of care that most people have never heard of… even though it’s been changing lives for decades.

He came to investigate the recoveries. He needed one of his own.

For sixteen years, Nick Pineault has been investigating environmental toxicity. Sixteen years of watching the world get more polluted while the people writing to him kept getting sicker. Chronic disease everywhere. No real answer.

Then a small group of physicians told him something different. "We know why people are getting sick. And we're getting them better." Nick said, "Prove it."

He flew to one of the leading environmental medicine clinics in the country, not for himself but for his readers. He asked to try every modality used on their patients. The doctors agreed.

The clinic had a framework they called Total Body Burden, refined since the 1970s by pioneers like Dr. William Rea and Dr. Walter Crinnion. Fifty years of clinical work, by a field most people have never heard of.

Then Nick got tested. His lead came back at 34 times the reference range, his mercury 29 times. He had come to investigate how to help others. He discovered he needed help too.

A year of disciplined detox followed. Four of those 365 days at the clinic, the rest at home. By the end, his motivation, mental clarity, daily mood, marriage, and work as an entrepreneur had all measurably changed.

Body Burden is the film of that investigation. The answer Nick spent sixteen years looking for, on behalf of the people who kept asking him what to do.

The Doctors Featured In The Film

Dr. Michael Bauerschmidt
Environmental Medicine Physician
Dr. Bauerschmidt spent 22 years in emergency medicine, including service as Medical Director of a major hospital system, before founding the Deeper Healing Medical Wellness Center in Charleston, SC.

Patients and practitioners travel to him from around the world. In Body Burden, he walks viewers through the science of toxic accumulation, the testing process, and the protocols environmental medicine has refined since the 1970s.

Dr. Stephanie McCarter
Environmental Medicine Physician
Dr. McCarter is a practicing environmental medicine physician and Board Advisor to the National Association of Environmental Medicine. Her clinical specialty is two of the most underdiagnosed conditions in modern medicine: EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation) Syndrome and mold illness.

Her patients typically arrive after seeing dozens of doctors who couldn't help them. In Body Burden, she offers a window into the clinical work that finally gives those patients answers. She is currently in practice at Carpathia Collaborative in Dallas.

The film also draws on the foundational work of Dr. Walter Crinnion and Dr. William Rea, legendary pioneers of environmental medicine whose protocols have been quietly healing patients for decades.

Why toxins don't leave on their own

Lead, mercury, PFAS, mold toxins... they accumulate in tissue over a lifetime, often with no obvious symptoms until the burden becomes too great. You'll understand the science of accumulation and why conventional medicine largely misses it.

The pioneers who cracked the code

Starting in the 1970s, physicians like Dr. Walter Crinnion and Dr. William Rea began developing protocols to identify and treat environmental illness. Their work has been quietly changing lives for decades, with almost no mainstream recognition. Until now.

Real patients. Real recoveries.

Brandon recovered from debilitating brain fog and memory loss after occupational toxin exposure, sometimes within months. A teenager's anxiety and fainting resolved after her mold burden was addressed. These are real documented cases from practicing physicians.

The investigator becomes the subject

Nick walked into the clinic as a journalist verifying claims. His tests came back at 34 times the reference range for lead. The film follows what the doctors' protocols did for a healthy 37-year-old who didn't know he needed them, and what changed in every part of his life as a result.

Practical pathways forward

You don't need to fly to a specialty clinic to benefit from the principles of environmental medicine. The film closes with a clear, hopeful look at what this work actually looks like in practice, and how anyone can begin to reduce their own body burden.
